2. The one browser preference we store
When you switch between light and dark mode, the site saves that choice in your browser using local storage under the name retailist-theme. Local storage is not a cookie and is not automatically sent with every web request. It contains only the theme you chose. When you select a language, the site saves its language code under retailist-suite-language-v1. Browser language detection happens on your device and does not save a preference unless you choose a language.
You can remove it at any time by clearing site data in your browser. The site will then follow your computer’s color preference again.
3. What this site does not use
- No advertising cookies
- No visitor analytics cookies
- No tracking pixels or social media trackers
- No fingerprinting to recognize you across visits
- No third party font requests
Basic network request records may still be processed by our hosting and security providers to deliver the page and protect it from abuse. Those records are not a cookie banner choice and are explained in the Privacy Policy.
4. Links to other sites
Retailist.net links to the other Retailist suite sites, the Retailist console, and connected providers. Once you follow an outside link, that site may use cookies under its own policy. This policy covers retailist.net only.
5. If this changes
If we ever add optional cookies or similar tracking technology, we will update this page and ask for the required choice before that technology runs. Questions can be sent to hello@retailist.app.
