Private by default
Your records live on your computer. Orders and customer data sync end to end encrypted, device to device when your machines can see each other, through the cloud only when needed. We store ciphertext we cannot read.
Local first
The desktop app works without us. The cloud services are extras you can add, not a leash. If our servers vanished tomorrow, your shop would still open.
No lock in
Switch service providers whenever you like, with more of them on the way. The app makes the move easy, nothing about your daily routine changes, and there is no learning curve. Leave altogether and your data goes with you. That is the deal, in writing.

The App and the suite
How do the App, AI, Store and Cloud fit together?
Retailist App is the desktop workspace for products, stock, counter sales, orders and daily shop work. RetailistAI, Retailist Store and Retailist Cloud are built into that workspace for content creation, online selling and encrypted backup.
The individual product websites explain those services in more detail, including their plans and supported integrations. The App brings them together for running your shop.
Do I need four separate apps?
No. Start with Retailist App. Its AI studio, storefront tools and backup controls are part of the same workspace, so you can use them as your shop needs them.
Built-in tools and managed services have different allowances. Connected stores, hosted services, AI usage and extra storage depend on your plan or provider; the pricing page explains the details.
Can I use the individual services?
RetailistAI and Retailist Cloud also have their own product websites and integration options for WordPress and Shopify. You can explore those routes when you need a particular service.
Retailist Store is created and managed from Retailist App. For a shop that needs the whole workflow, the App already brings the services together.
Can I keep my current online store?
Yes. Retailist App can work alongside your existing Shopify or WooCommerce store, keeping shop operations in the desktop workspace while your online store continues selling.
You can also run a local shop without a storefront or publish through Retailist Store. Check the App plans for connected-store support and limits before choosing a setup.
Everyday work and your data
What can I do without an internet connection?
Your local workspace runs on your computer. Products, stock, counter sales and other local shop work remain available without an internet connection.
Connected-store sync, publishing, cloud services and remote AI providers need internet access. Local AI can use a supported local model setup instead.
How does AI work inside the App?
The App includes a creative studio for product photos, model imagery and listing content. You can use managed RetailistAI, a supported provider with your own key, or a compatible local model setup.
The studio itself is part of the local workspace. Remote generation uses your provider’s billing or prepaid credits; local tools and models have their own setup requirements.
How do I start selling online?
Create and manage your Retailist Store in Retailist App, prepare your products and publish when you are ready. The storefront is hosted, so you do not need to assemble a separate website platform.
If you already sell through Shopify or WooCommerce, you can connect that store instead. Store connections and hosting allowances follow the plan you choose.
How do backups and data privacy work?
The App supports encrypted backup and restore to your own storage. Managed plans also include Retailist Cloud backup, with storage allowances shown on the App pricing page.
Local shop work stays on your computer. When you use a connected storefront, an AI provider or another service, the information needed for that task is sent to that service. Our privacy policy explains these boundaries.

Can I start for free?
Yes. The free local workspace runs on one computer for one user, with no account or payment card required. It includes local shop tools, the creative studio and backup to your own storage.
Choose a managed plan when you need connected stores, more devices or team access. Remote AI usage and other services can have separate charges even when you use the free App.

Every App plan includes the local workspace. Managed plans add connected stores, sync, cloud backup and capacity for devices or people, according to the plan.
RetailistAI credits, additional Retailist Store hosting and extra Retailist Cloud storage are charged separately where applicable. Use the App pricing page for included allowances and each service’s website for its own pricing.
